Card FAQ

The miter (from the Greek μίτρα: girdle, headband, diadem) is a pontifical insignia used by prelates of the Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church and the Anglican Church, whether they are: abbots, bishops, archbishops, cardinals or even the Pope. The miter is the prelative head covering of the ceremony.
