Pillow FAQ

Nemesis or Nemesis (in Greek: Νέμεσις), in Greek mythology according to Hesiod, was one of the daughters of the goddess Nix (the night). Pausanias cited Nemesis as the daughter of the titans Ocean and Tethys. Later authors placed her as the daughter of Zeus and Themis. It is the goddess who personifies fate, balance and divine revenge. Nemesis can also be used to represent something that a person cannot conquer or achieve, or a powerful rival that is very difficult to defeat. In many cases, nemesis is a reference to an agent or act of punishment or revenge.
